Job Summary: We seek a seasoned IT professional with expertise in implementing and designing solutions utilizing IBM Maximo Application Suite. This role requires strong knowledge of system integration, software development methodologies, and infrastructure planning. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and experience managing complex IT initiatives. They must also have prior exposure to Maximo Application Suite and its various modules.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a subject matter specialist for Maximo Application Suite. Provides advice and assistance during project execution.
- Designs and creates tailored solutions leveraging Maximo Application Suite to meet clients' needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional groups such as sales, marketing, customer service, finance, etc., ensuring seamless alignment between technology solutions and organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes before developing strategies that optimize performance through efficient resource allocation and cost savings measures.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Remains updated about emerging trends and best practices related to Maximo Application Suite. Identifies improvement chances and suggests novel approaches or solutions when necessary.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Asset Management expertise is essential combined with a deep knowledge of the Maximo portfolio.
- Specific industry domain expertise.
- At least ten years of experience designing and deploying solutions using IBM Maximo Application Suite.
- Thorough understanding of Maximo Application Suite's capabilities and limitations.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to analyse functional requirements and design a solution aligned to Maximo's best practices that meet the requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality standards.
- Willingness to travel
