The Opportunity :
We are seeking an exceptional Educational Leader/2IC to join our brand-new early childhood service in Kingswood.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the centre's educational program, mentoring, and supporting educators, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent, previous experience in an assistant director or educational leader role, and a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.

The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Lead the centre's educational program.
- Support of director and a very involved management team
- Mentoring the team using your amazing coaching techniques to help develop reflective practices.
- Work both contact and non-contacting time with a mix of both on the floor and off the floor management tasks such as processing enrolments, processing fees.
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the absence of the centre manager.
- Identifying areas of improvement and support educators in their planning.
The Successful candidate must possess the following key attributes and qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Diploma
- Previous experience of working as an assistant director or educational leader is preferred.
- Current first aid certifications and WWCC
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
- High level of initiative.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- A caring person with a friendly, bright personality
- Be flexible, adaptable, and open minded.
- Ability to work in an autonomously and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- You will feel comfortable mentoring the team.
- You will have a strong passion for early childhood education.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
