As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our quest for new business ventures. Your strategic mindset and proactive approach will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and securing partnerships that align with our vision for unparalleled events and beyond. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in the events industry and other relevant sectors. - Calls Calls Calls, we want you to be on the phone creating those relationships and closing those deals. We want you to be so busy on the phones that your energy and enthusiasm fill the office. - Develop and implement innovative strategies to acquire new clients and foster long-term relationships. - Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and identify emerging opportunities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings that meet the unique needs of potential clients. - Engage with prospects through compelling presentations and pitches that showcase the value of our services. - Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for all parties involved. - Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, influencers, and decision-makers. - Provide regular reports on business development progress, market trends, and competitor activities. **Key Skills** - Proven experience in business development, preferably in the events industry or related sectors. - Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. - Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities. - Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets. - Knowledge of market trends, competitor landscapes, and industry dynamics. - Familiarity with CRM systems and other business development tools. - Strong networking abilities and a natural flair for relationship-building.
