Victorian Health Building Authority The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is a division within the Victorian Department of Health (DH), responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government’s multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Role Purpose
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high level executive support to the Senior Executive Director, overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the Office of the Senior Executive Director of the Asset Development Infrastructure Advisory Services branch.

The role involves coordinating the Senior Executive Director's schedule, including managing multiple priority commitments, communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders within the branch, the broader public service/sector and the private sector. Working closely with the Principal Adviser, the Executive Assistant effectively manages core business and corporate functions of hte Office, ensuring timely and accurate coordination of briefings, purchasing and payments, HR, information and records management and other business support activities. The position provides sound advice on relevant policies, processes and procedures, and liaises with internal and external stakeholders to respond to a range of queries requiring a high level of professionalism, problem-solving and initiative.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, demonstrate exceptional communication and relationship management skills. The role would suit a highly motivated individual who can operate independently in a dynamic environment and seeks to continuously improve workflow efficiency in collaboration with other divisional offices.
