About the role
We are seeking a Community Engagement Officer to maintain and expand on business opportunities within the Aged Care and Disability Sector. This role will be based in the Smeaton Grange office.
Tasks and Responsibilities
· Build and maintain strong relationships within hospitals, nursing homes, Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals and any relevant customers
· Assist people with disabilities and their families to access our services
· Participate in networking events and identifying potential opportunities for you to attend
· Arranging meetings and selling services
· Travel in and around New South Wales and potentially Australia-wide business opportunities
Skills and Experience
· NDIS Workers Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
· Working with Children Check (WWCC)
· Must have own car with valid license and comprehensive car insurance
· Knowledge and/or experience of NDIS guidelines and Practice Standards
· Intermediate skills of Microsoft Office software
· Strong customer service, sales and marketing skills
