Our client is a reputable company within the coal mining industry specialising in steel making coal (metallurgical coal) is teaming up with AWX to find skilled legends like you. They're all about quality, innovation, and sustainability across Australia and worldwide. What you'll do
- Drive haul trucks plus two other machines (grader, dozer, wheel dozer or excavator)
- Work in surface coal mining production circuits
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11 - SOA within five years or SOC within six months of issue date
- Pass the drug and alcohol screening
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and a trusty ride
- At least 12+ months experience operating one of those machines in a coal mine
- RII's for two other machines completed within the last five years or proof of skills (SSL) or verification (VOC) from another mine within the last two years.
- Strong and proactive approach to safety
- A can-do attitude towards showing up, being present and looking sharp
- 7/7 day/night rotating roster from Wednesday to Tuesday with 12.5 hour days
- Did we mention the flat rate of $55.65 per hour? (plus a higher rate for non-rostered OT!)
