Project Manager required for a successful head contractor managing projects across Health, Industrial & Commercial spaces
Due to the increase of work our client are looking to add an up and coming Project Manager to their team. Someone that is relatively new to Project Management seeking mentorship to advance their commercial career.Are you a team player that has a track record of delivering commercial jobs?
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Liaison with project team, clients, sub contractors & consultants
- Lead the projects to ensure quality and safety is met though updating safety plans & incident management
- Responsible for the project programme ensuring accuracy
- Manage head contract / sub-contract delay notices and EOT's
- Project administration & management
- Monitor Quality Assurance on site & Checklists
- Monitor project expenditure & manage invoices / credits
- Project completion, defect management & defect liability period maintenance
- Assist estimators with tenders
- Manage Contracts Administrators and Junior Staff
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or Similar
- 1 + Years Project Management experience delivering multiple of the above highlighted projects locally
- Our client would consider a Contracts Administrator with 5 years experience looking to move into Project Management
- History of mitigating risk and avoiding commercial error
- Proven time management with strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player that is accountable and driven
- Must be Gold Coast based
- Work flexibly to ensure work life balance is achieved
- Gain experience on larger commercial projects
- Creative freedom in a team that do not micro manage
- Become an integral part of our clients new Gold Coast office
- Be provided with career development pathways
