The Role
The Defence Search and Rescue Project is looking for a highly flexible, detail orientated and collaborative individual to work in a dynamic and diverse environment requiring a number of key skills to:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure existing and future SAR facilities are available and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
- Conduct assurance and investigation activities to interpret, recommend and provide advice on moderately complex facilities issues.
- Review project scope amendments including the assessment of facilities, cost and schedule implications.
- Contribute cost data analysis input to develop documentation including templates, reports, submissions, plans, strategies and risks.
- Engage and negotiate with clients and stakeholders including subject matter experts and respond to complex cost facilities issues/ enquiries.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of tender and contract documentation, schedules and negotiations.

The Defence Search and Rescue Services (DSARS) Project seeks to consolidate a number of existing Search and Rescue service contracts into a single, effective and efficient, whole of Defence SAR services contract arrangement.
