Our client, a department of the Australian Government responsible for consolidating the Government's efforts to drive economic growth, productivity and competitiveness by bringing together industry, energy, resources and science, are seeking the experience of a Full Stack Developer (Sitecore, .Net, Azure) for a 12+12+12 month contract based in Canberra or performed remotely.
Duties of the Full Stack Developer
- Create highly functional, visually rich interfaces that are both usable and accessible across all common browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business.gov.au brand guidelines, design systems and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Work with product owners, delivery teams, UX and designers to ensure a consistent experience for customers at every touchpoint, across multiple services/ products.
- Provide advice and guidance to content and delivery teams for best practice utilisation of the Sitecore CMS.
- Implement the necessary ongoing Sitecore monitoring and upgrades to best utilise the enterprise modules within Sitecore with a view to implement advanced technologies to harness improved experiences and efficiencies according to the department's direction.
- Collaborate with internal dependency teams to ensure we are meeting the necessary security and compliance and aligning the use of Sitecore to the department's enterprise architecture ecosystem.
- Be available outside of core business hours to ensure service availability.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience working at pace both independently and as part of an Agile multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in developing for multiple browsers and devices, and meeting accessibility standards.
- Experience with Azure PaaS Cloud or equivalent cloud technology.
- Minimum 2 years' experience developing on the Sitecore platform from v9 upwards Experience developing web and frontend applications using the following technology stack:
- .NET
- C#
- Node.js
- ASP.NET MVC
- Modern JS Frameworks
- CSS
- HTML.
- Experience in Azure DevOps or Microsoft TFS and working with search technologies (desired).
- Eye for detail & strong understanding of modern web application development practices (desired).
- Experience working with Sitecore xDB, xConnect and implementing website personalisation (desired).
