The Opportunity



We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our Vehicle Services Team.



This role supports the Team Leaders and Manager in the daily supervision of the Vehicle Services team. You will undertake quality assurance audits and identify training needs; providing subsequent training to ensure continuous improvement across the team.


As Team Support Officer you will assist in the resolution of escalated technical, customer service and legislative matters. To succeed in this role, you will require strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse and interpret data to assist the team.


Based at our contemporary office space in Innaloo, you will enjoy the challenges in this high-volume dynamic environment.

There is currently one (1) permanent position available for immediate filling.



Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.

  • Supervising and monitoring the work of the team.
  • Assisting in the resolution of escalated technical, customer service and legislative issues.
  • Contributing to procedural and process improvements within the Vehicle Services Team.
  • Work collaboratively within an established team and autonomously to meet team objectives.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to exceed client expectations.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently to cultivate strong working relationships and influence a range of stakeholders including industry and government bodies.

  • Experience supervising, training and performing quality assurance within a customer service or regulatory environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply and advise on relevant Acts, regulations, policies, procedures and systems.


  1. The CV must contain the complete names and contact information of two (2) referees who can provide feedback on the applicant's capacity to meet all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. At least one of the referees should be the applicant's immediate (most recent) supervisor/manager unless there are exceptional circumstances.
