If you live and work in areas identified as remote areas by the ATO you will be able to salary package 50% of your mortgage interest, rent, fuels (electricity and gas bills ), or the purchase cost of a home above the standard salary packaging amount ($15,900 annually).

In addition, Churches of Christ have options to offer rental assistance and relocation assistance at remote and rural locations.



Sign on Bonus.

Lastly, Churches of Christ are offering a generous Sign on and Retention cash bonus of up to $8000.

You will be eligible for the following cash bonuses:

  • $1000 on sign on – paid after third fortnight
  • $1500 after 6 months
  • $2500 after 12 months
  • $3000 after 24 months.

For part-time employees, this amount will be paid on a pro-rata basis based on the ordinary hours of work during the period.

About you

You are a compassionate health care professional able to provide care with empathy and kindness. Your attention to detail will ensure that you are effectively monitoring the progress of the residents and administering medication or providing referrals where needed. Your strong communication skills will enable you to understand and communicate with not only your residents, but also their families and a broader care team.

As a Registered Nurse you will:

  • Provide direct patient care, including providing medications and interventions.
  • Liases with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and monitor bespoke care plans.
  • Monitor and document resident health status and progress and make referrals as needed.
  • Educate families about health conditions and medications.
  • Provide guidance and support to our team of dedicated care workers.
  • Flexible to work Morning, Afternoon and some Night Duties.

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • Current registration as a registered nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner. Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in aged care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • A National Police Check or ability to obtain.
  • Current CPR Cert.
