Description:
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner based out of our Workshop in Tivendale, NT. Reporting into the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance, repairs and servicing of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Ideally this role would be suited to candidates with experience as a maintenance planner, or an experienced mechanic or maintenance fitter looking for an off the workshop floor role. Mechanical workshop, operational and fleet/plant maintenance knowledge experience required.
About You
- Training in automotive servicing and maintenance or detailed experience and working knowledge of heavy vehicles, mobile plant equipment mechanical systems.
- Ability to forecast, plan and schedule preventative maintenance requirements
- Previous experience with JDEGS, or other similar maintenance management system preferred
- Good working familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook etc
- Ability to work closely and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers/suppliers.
- Previous experience working autonomously or with limited supervision
- Ability to provide technical support to internal and external providers.
- Lead and champion a safety culture that supports Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies.
