Description:
Learning Support Assistants provide Routine support to teachers and students in classroom activities and in the implementation of educational programs; classroom support may include working with individual or small group of students.Provide basic physical, emotional, and personal hygiene and health care for students and other duties as required including general administrative duties.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
Mandatory - Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP). Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) registration (act.gov.au).
Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to full future identical vacancies of the next 12 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
