Description:
Connect with community while enhancing your coffee-making and customer-service skills!
ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Railway House Coffee Cart runs 2-3 mornings a week and is a great vehicle for facilitating community connections and engagement, promoting programs and services, as well as raising small funds for House projects. The Cart also serves as a training opportunity for local VCAL students (or other community volunteers) who may be interested in developing customer service and/or coffee-making skills.
On Wednesdays, the Coffee Cart accompanies our free Community Food Stall, complementing the free breads and pastries we receive for distribution from a local bakery. The volunteer role will enable people with means, to purchase coffee ahead (by donation) for others who may be experiencing financial and social difficulties.
KEY TASKS

- Check/ensure there are adequate supplies of coffee, milk/s and sugar for the shift.
