Analyse and define business needs across the technology division to drive continuous improvement across the technical solution ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the Technical Business Analyst, you will perform analysis across the technical solution ecosystem and the business landscape that relies upon continuous improvement and delivery from the technology division.
You will:
  • analyse and review existing systems, applications, functions, and the information used, ensuring objectives are met
  • identify and document business processes, business and functional requirements, comparing the best processes, including measuring and evaluating outcomes
  • collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to support design, build and delivery to meet the user needs
  • understand and promote technical opportunities, limitations and the desired technical architecture and roadmaps
  • contribute to solution proposals based on business, technical, cost, gap analyses and feasibility/ROI metrics
  • contribute to process and technical governance activities including recommending controls by identifying risks and identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
To be successful in the role of Technical Business Analyst, you will be an excellent communicator with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to prioritise. Critically, you will be able to adapt in a dynamic environment and thrive on problem-solving to deliver technical solutions.
Your background will demonstrate your:
  • experience in a similar technically focused business/project/data/systems analysis role
  • ability to apply technical expertise in achieving business outcomes
  • ability to respond creatively and offer solutions to data issues and contribute to systems development to improve data collection and access
  • collaborative engagements with subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs
  • experience performing data analysis to understand business requirements and risks
  • experience working with business improvement methodologies and utilising project management specifically within Agile/Iterative frameworks
  • demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to involve others in identifying issues and solutions.

Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Technology or Computer Science. Additionally, experience working with cloud solutions and technologies such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence and SharePoint is highly desirable.
