Description:

The Position
To undertake investigation, design, CAD drafting and project management of architectural design works required for the provision of infrastructure.
Assisting the Senior Design Architect with minimum supervision.

  • Working 35 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO

Qualifications & experience
  • Tertiary Qualifications in architecture recognised by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia
  • Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
  • Able to meet eligibility requirements for admission to the Architects Practice Examination
  • Relevant experience in architectural practice or similar field
Tasks & responsibilities
  • Investigation and design
  • Drafting-CAD and manual
  • Prepare project scope, options and estimates
  • Survey
  • Assist on projects with construction staff as required
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of work teams and quality procedures

Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
