Experienced Procurement and Inventory Control within the Manufacturing industry.
My client is currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for a full time role based in Bayswater. This role will report to the Procurement Manager where you will manage and optimize the inventory levels to support production and sales operations.You will ensure accurate stock records, address issues related to negative stocks, obsolete inventory, and supplier performance, and satisfy end to end procurement requirements within the assigned portfolio through the ERP system (Pronto).
Responsibilities
- Regularly review and correct negative stock issues by adjusting inventory levels and updating ERP records.
- Analyse inventory aging reports to identify and mitigate obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
- Process stock adjustments to correct discrepancies and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Coordinate and document transfers of inventory between warehouses to optimize stock levels.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in BOMs and work orders in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Schedule and conduct cycle count and annual stock takes to verify inventory accuracy.
- Generate inventory reports, analyse trends, and prepare management summaries.
- Collaborate across departments to align inventory management with business objectives and new product introductions.
- Manage supplier relationships, including placing and expediting purchase orders, resolving invoice discrepancies, and evaluating performance.
- Minimum 3 years Experience in manufacturing or similar industry
- Experience in procurement on supply chain.
- Experience in inventory management using ERP systems.
- Previous experience in the delivery of end-to-end procurement through an ERP system.
- Experience with Pronto is considered highly desirable.
- Evidence of utilising interpersonal skills to manage relationships with peers and suppliers
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
