Requirements
The Digital Transformation and Delivery Division has a significant programme or work to deliver on the digital transformation for Aged Care providers as a result of the outcomes from the Royal Commission into Aged Care.
The Department is looking to fill several Integration Architect roles to assist in delivering on the above outcomes. These roles would lead major integration architecture work across our ICT ecosystem, that includes Salesforce/Mulesoft, Siebel/Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Forgerock and a variety of other technologies both in the cloud and on prem. Health has tight integration with a number of other agencies, particulalry Service Australia in the exchange of data.
Key skills and abilities of the role are:
Leads the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements. Establishes policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architecture components. Manages trade-offs and balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation. Communicates proposed decisions to stakeholders. Coordinates and manages the target architecture across multiple projects or initiatives. Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate standards across multiple projects or initiatives.

Working arrangements
Most of the workforce is working remotely from home. However, the Department may require contractors to work in the local office either full-time or part-time; and may require regular travel to Canberra.
