Job Purpose
- We are looking for a Project Finance Lead Financial Analyst/Consultant to join the Capital Markets & Financing Department (CM&FD) for our client. The CM&FD, part of the Finance Business Line, aims to provide expert financial advice for new businesses or joint ventures, coordinate finance-related activities, and secure debt and equity capital for new ventures as needed.
- Advise on project agreement bankability and financing risk minimization.
- Prepare business plans, financial forecasts, and funding strategies for investment decisions and project financing.
- Coordinate activities with investment banks, project advisors, lenders, and consultants for project financing.
- Provide professional expertise in Treasury project finance areas, participate in project evaluation teams, and support talent development within the organization.
- Stay updated on economic and banking trends, identify opportunities, and alert management to potential risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA preferred)
- Minimum seven years' experience in oil & gas industry or leading debt capital market structuring/syndication team
- Financial certification such as CPA, CMA, CTP, or CFA required
- Experience in securing a corporate credit rating or understanding of rating agencies
- Strong advisory skills for senior management
