Currently we are looking to appoint Speech Pathologists to join our team at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will:

  • be part of a multidisciplinary team and provide speech pathology services to an allocated caseload requiring assessment, diagnosis and management of communication and swallowing disorders
  • facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care
  • practice as per the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics, the Speech Pathology Australia Scope of Practice and SMHS policies and guidelines.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
