The CompanyOur client are a recognised market leader in their respective space delivering products to consumers nationally. Through continued growth and with a focus towards process improvement the business are positioned to bring in an experienced Transport Scheduler to work within their flagship site.
The Role
Reporting to the State Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the planning, coordination and monitoring of daily transport needs to ensure delivery targets are met.
- Liasing with internal and external transport stakeholders as well as warehouses to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers in an efficient manner.
- Be an active contributor in performance related discussions with a focus towards continuous improvement practices to streamline and optimise transport activities.
- Leadership and guidance where necessary on policies, procedures, and projects.
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will ideally be;
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a logistics or related field.
- Strong planning skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
