About The Company:
Our client plays a pivotal role in supplying energy across Australia, delivering approximately half of the nation’s gas usage and facilitating electricity transmission between Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland. About The Role:
Located at Kidman Park, Adelaide, you will work closely with the Engineers and Drafting people to achieve pipeline goals.
Your previous experience in Gas Pipelines, Water or Packaged Gas will hold you in good stead.
In this role you will:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and practices, in all mechanical and pipeline engineering projects.
- Oversee pipeline engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop preliminary and detailed designs for mechanical and pipeline engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project scope.
- Prepare documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices, and monitoring regimes related to pipeline engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and draftspersons across departments to ensure pipeline project objectives are met.
- Assist in pipeline engineering and infrastructure commissioning activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of the pipeline engineering budget and address any budget variances.
About You:
As a qualified Engineer, you will possess the following:
- Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices, particularly in pipeline engineering, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Strong project management skills to oversee pipeline engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Proficiency in preparing both preliminary and detailed designs for mechanical and pipeline engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project scope.
- Excellent documentation skills to develop standards, procedures, and safe working practices for pipeline projects.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to effectively liaise with other department engineers and draftspersons to achieve pipeline project goals.
- Experience in pipeline engineering and infrastructure commissioning activities, as well as familiarity with budget preparation and management.
