Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Position Profile: The Coordinator Occupational Therapy l eads and co-ordinates the services of the occupational therapy services in Ward 5A including the co-ordination of the professional supervision of staff and the promotion and maintenance of professional standards. This role provides a specialised occupational therapy mental health service using a range of appropriate evidence-based interventions requiring advanced knowledge, experience and competence within a multidisciplinary and professional team context. You will also act as an expert resource and first point of contact for ward based occupational therapy matters and provides specialised level of consultation, education and supervision on complex mental health disorders in children and adolescents to both internal and external services and practitioners.
