My Client is seeking an experienced mechanical fitter to join there team on a temp to perm basis.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Assemble, install, and test machinery and mechanical components according to specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Document maintenance and repair activities as required.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Mechanical Fitter - trade qualified.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
