CCQ has an ambitious agenda to design and deliver better primary health services for the people in their region. Achieving this will require CCQ as a commissioning organisation to not only focus on primary health service provision but also on other health determinants which support communities to live their best lives.
The Senior Manager will lead the local primary health team to foster, develop and maintain effective working relationships with primary health care providers, Hospital & Health Services, community organisations and local health care professionals.
The role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to progress opportunities for reform and drive initiatives that improve health outcomes in the region.

About the role
The key responsibility of this role involves managing stakeholder relationships, leading a team of primary health coordinators, working on reform and change within the organisation, delivering results, having a knowledge of the health system and project management.
The ideal person will have a good understanding of the health system, experience in health care and relevant tertiary qualifications. Work with the Director and CCQ’s networks, partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders including primary healthcare providers, Hospital & Health Service, social service providers, consumers and communities to champion systems and service reform, identify opportunities for collaboration, and drive integrated approaches to improve health outcomes.
