And our team is expanding. We’re looking for a Risk Manager to be part of our Technology Uplift Program. This role will work closely with the Chief Risk Office to reshape our Technology Risk Management processes and improve our risk management capabilities across Australia within our vast community of solvers.

Use the know-how you've gained in governance and risk management. With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow. We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout. You'll learn plenty as you work closely with the Risk Management Pillar delivery lead, to reduce risks to the security of information and resilience of our systems. These services include IT risk management and assessment processes, facilitating and reporting to drive control uplifts and risk reduction, and management of AU security policy and procedures, in a workplace that’s human-led and tech-enabled.

As an expert in data analytics and reporting, and cyber security, you’ll solve problems by designing and implementing a process for relevant teams to report/escalate open technology issues/incidents to the Governance team for monitoring and reporting. In our Tech Hub team, you’ll also:

  • Establish the Technology & Data Risk Council (TDRC) and related Lines of Service (LoS) Working Groups
  • Create governance structures and reporting packs for TDRC and 5 LoS Working Groups
  • Develop a Consolidated Enterprise Wide Technology Risk Register
  • Create a consolidated List of Open technology related issues/incidents.
  • Establish an Obligations Register with control categories mapped to obligations (internal and external obligations).
  • Complete mapping of technology risks to control categories and identification of any control gaps.
  • Assist with review and uplift of 1st Line technology assurance activity to ensure key control areas addressing risks and obligations are being assessed/tested.
  • Support with review and uplift activity related to PwC Australia Technology Policies
  • Support with project management activity including weekly Program status reports and deep dive packs.
  • Contribute and assist with reporting and presentations to the Technology Uplift Program (TUP) Steering Committee
  • Support with transition of design and implementation activity from TUP team to BAU (Technology Governance and Risk Management Team)

More About You

  • You have a keen interest in data analytics and reporting, cyber security, governance and risk management, and take pride in contributing to a great team, whose performance is critical to the success of the business.
  • You have a ‘can do’ attitude towards getting the job done.
  • You are collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.
  • You are a problem solver and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their stakeholders.
  • You act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

We have 2 headcount requirements for this role and will also be open to Senior Associate grades.

This is a max term role for a specific project and will be open to accept domestic secondment.

It’s time to move forward. And upward.

You want to grow, reach new heights and move up the corporate ladder.

We’ll give you a career-boosting role that:

  • Is strong on growth and reward
  • Has competitive and transparent salary packages with the opportunity for yearly bonuses and promotions
  • Helps you learn and grow with our internal Academy, study support, and partnerships with Udemy and Coursera
  • Provides strong mentors, meaningful work and plenty of networking opportunities
  • Gives you the chance to explore, with overseas secondments and our Together Anywhere policy that lets you work up to 4 weeks from anywhere in Australia

We're an inclusive bunch, and we try to make life easier - for our clients, our teams and our communities. If you need reasonable adjustments when applying, just let us know.

Mel Taclay is the Recruitment Manager for the role. As the team experiences high volumes of applications, we appreciate your patience to allow for a timely and fair process for all.
