About the role – Part-time, 0.6FTE

The Fundraising Coordinator will work with the Fundraising Manager in building relationships with new and existing donors, raising funds through focusing on key elements within the strategic fundraising plan, and promoting Baptist Care SA’s value proposition. The role includes coordinating the delivery of our Appeals,and Regular Giving acquisition. The position also provides key administrative support for general fundraising activities.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate quarterly appeals in conjunction with the Fundraising Manager
  • Identify, research and execute new fundraising events and initiatives to complement existing strategies.
  • Provide support for fundraising events
  • Support and provide guidance to corporate fundraising events that may include creative opportunities.

About you:

You are passionate about the work you do, and truly believe in the mission of Baptist Care SA, and the support we provide in the community. You are an effective communicator who can build relationships with people from all backgrounds including those within your team. Details matter: your attention to detail is second to none, including your own presentation and the quality of work you provide.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Three to five years’ experience in the same or reasonably similar role
  • Previous work experience in a community service or Not for Profit (NFP) environment.
  • Demonstrated competency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Experience in fundraising donor appeals
  • A working knowledge of legislation relevant to the sector

Specific Requirements:

You will be required to have, or be willing to obtain:

  • A current and valid DHS: Child-Related Employment Screening/WWCC
  • A current and valid National Police Clearance
  • Safe Environments for Children and Young People Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability and willingness to travel within South Australia as required.
  • A valid full South Australian drivers’ license (C Class)
