Description and RequirementsResponsibilities: -
- Develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned Territory.
- Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect.
- Utilize a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospect and develop a formal presentation addressing business needs.
- Respond to RFP's and follow up with prospects.
- Assisted in delivery of high quality solutions to clients in response to specific business requirements.
- Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects.
- Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information.
- Provide, or facilitate training opportunities for your accounts.
- Provide product feedback back to engineering to design complete business solutions.
- Develop technical skills and absorbs professional knowledge quickly.
- Call into C-levels and lead conversations with key IT decision makers
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of customer facing sales experience
- Successful experience working in both large and small/emerging company environments
- Successful track record of introducing new product(s) into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business.
- Successful track record of presenting and positioning IT primary storage and/or server virtualization offerings directly to end customers and via reseller channels.
- Ideally experience is with a subset of products from the following companies (NetApp, EMC,VMware, HyperV, KVM, EqualLogic, VCE, Compellent, Cisco, Citrix, Veeam, or similar companies)
- Successful track record of reseller channel recruitment, enablement and management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
