Description:
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages with precision and care.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular equipment maintenance and cleaning.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing correct change and processing payments.
- Prepare and serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
- Keep track of inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure beverages and food meet quality and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
- Educate customers about our coffee blends, brewing methods, and special offerings.
*Qualifications:*
- Previous barista or coffee-related experience is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift and carry supplies, and perform various tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for coffee and the coffee culture.
