Help us deliver like never before

As our Mail Sorting Officer, you’ll be working at a Delivery Centre where you’ll be responsible for manually sorting mail in preparation for delivery the next day. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Posties, who provide a vital service to our local community every single day.

You’ll be working together with a friendly team of like-minded people, and your community relies on you, and it doesn’t get better than that!

This is a permanent part time position, working 5 days, Monday to Friday, 3am/4am starts and 10:30am Finishes.


You’ll be

  • Working efficiently individually or in a team to manually sort mail into logical street, number and into an appropriate round
  • Lifting and handling heavy parcels and bags of mail regularly
  • Required to use manual pallet jacks and stackers to receive and despatch large volume of mail
  • Provided initial and ongoing training with senior team members who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development


About you

  • You are flexible with working additional hours if required
  • You have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory
