We are the leader in providing a full suite of interior lining solutions across the building industry. The OpportunityExclusive opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our production team. You will be working on day shift Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm) with occasional cover for the 4 days on and 4 off (6am - 6pm). Your role is responsible for providing effective support in the preventative maintenance and repair of the production line, ensuring the achievement of factory production targets. Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Fitter will form part of the maintenance team and will be responsible for:Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory.Ensuring all relevant procedures & safe work method statements are filled out before maintenance tasks commence.Experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous: welding (MIG, TIG), Fault finding and troubleshooting to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.Adhere to safe work practices and take steps to identify hazards and report incidents Skills & QualificationsMechanical Fitter Trade CertificateGood communication skills both verbal and writtenA hands-on attitude, problem-solving skills, mature thinking with the ability to work both autonomously & as part of a supportive team Rewards & Benefits of the role A full-time permanent opportunity with growth in the businessAttractive Salary + superLifestyle rosterOvertime availableFree onsite parkingAccess to CSR's amazing employee benefits & discountsWork with an established team that is friendly and supportive!
