Description:
Experienced Dental Assistant and Receptionist required.
Our team is looking for an all rounder, who is energetic, reliable and ready to work in a fast paced environment.
Hours vary week to week from 20-35 hours a week on Monday to Friday.
This is a long term role (more than 6 months) for the right candidate.
Experience as a Dental Assistant for at least 2 years & Reception is required as well previous knowledge using Dental4Windows.
The practice is located in "The Spot", a little shopping precinct and close to public transport.
Duties involve;
- Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, mixing and preparing materials, setting up treatment trays and suction)
- Taking records and charting
- Administrative tasks (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records)
- Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
- Reception duties (e.g. making appointments, taking payment, scheduling recall appointments, handling general enquiries, answering phone calls, maintaining the reception area)
- Experience as a Dental assistant of at least 1 year required
- Use Dental4Windows proficiently for reception and assisting
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
