Description:
All Support Air is seeking a suitable candidate to join our team in the Sydney service area. The chosen individual will be appointed as an HVAC Service Technician.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the HVAC industry, specifically as a service technician, and possess the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. The primary responsibilities will include performing commercial repairs and preventative maintenance on VRF type air conditioning systems.
Tasks:
- Maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in a commercial setting, including diagnosing and repairing electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of various HVAC systems.
- Diagnosing a range of service issues, collaborating with the team to secure any necessary replacement parts, calibrating the system according to manufacturer's recommendations, and clearly explaining the solution to the customer.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain the schedule and properly communicate any delays.
- Regular communication with customers and supervisors to keep everyone updated on work progress.
- Provision of detailed, complete, and timely paperwork.
- Identification and reporting of potential opportunities for additional business to the supervisor/manager.
- Maintaining a high level of workplace safety awareness and identifying and reporting opportunities to improve the safety of the work environment.
Skills:
-Over three years of experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and rectifying a variety of HVAC service issues.
-Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
-Outstanding customer service skills, with a commitment to surpassing customer expectations.
-Proficient in working within a team environment, ensuring tasks are completed correctly on the first attempt.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current White Card
- Valid NSW Manual Driver’s Licence
- Must reside in Australia
- Well-groomed, neat appearance
- Ability to work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
