A rapidly growing real estate agency based in Adelaide, South Australia, our client offers services across residential, commercial, leasing and management and is experiencing continued growth across all segments.

About The Role

With continued growth, an opportunity to add a new Accounts Administrator to the team has arisen. 100% work from home, working to Adelaide office hours (with some flexibility) Monday to Friday only, the Accounts Administrator has key bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities including:
  • General accounts management (Xero) (3 entities):
    • Accounts Payable processing
    • Accounts Receivable processing
    • Payroll preparation and processing
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Preparation of financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Management reports, etc.)
  • Trust Account management (2 trust accounts):
    • Trust account receipting
    • Trust account payment processing
    • Trust account reconciliations
  • Sales and Leasing Management accounting and support:
    • Maintain and upkeep the Sales and Leasing Commission Tracker
    • Maintain and upkeep the Marketing Recovery Tracker
    • Maintain and upkeep End of Month Commission Reports to Agents
    • Process Agent Commission Payments through the Company CRM
    • Processing Property Adverts through the company CRM
  • Commercial property management accounting/support:
    • Process Accounts Payable for properties under management
    • Assist with the Preparation of Budgeted Outgoings each year
    • Assist with the External Audit of Budgeted Outgoings each year
    • Prepare Weekly Meeting information for the Director
  • Other administrative tasks as required
This roles works closely with the Directors and is an exciting opportunity to learn from senior leaders while also delivering values through your skills and experience in bookkeeper, accounting and information analysis.

About You
The successful applicant will be a fast learner who is proactive and driven to succeed. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and energised by activity, you will:
  • Have tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting or a related field
  • Be pro-active in pursuing your deliverables and your own development
  • Demonstrate highly developed attention to detail
  • Have experience with Xero (and payroll), Xero certification highly regarded
  • Have strong Excel skills
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Be organised, prompt and timely in your approach to work
