Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled individuals with extensive experience in working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and specifically Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). As a specialist in this field, you will play a crucial role in providing support, understanding, and tailored interventions for individuals with ASD and PDA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized strategies to support individuals with ASD and PDA in various settings.
- Conduct assessments to identify specific needs and challenges associated with ASD and PDA.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and families, to create comprehensive care plans.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in ASD and PDA to inform interventions and strategies.
- Provide training and support to colleagues, caregivers, and community members to enhance awareness and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in disability with proven experience
- Extensive experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a deep understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and strategies for individuals with ASD and PDA.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt and customize support based on individual needs.
