The School is seeking a fully qualified Primary Social and PE Teacher - (0.6FTE) for a 1 year fixed-term contract covering maternity leave (24/7/24 - 12/6/25).
We are looking for a staff member who possesses:
- A record of innovative practice
- An ability to inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
- A strong desire and proven ability to work in teams in and out of the classroom
- An outstanding record in building relationships and community with students, parents, and staff
- Experience in delivering a concept-based curriculum through inquiry learning.
- An intentional ability to balance academic and social-emotional development and wellbeing
- Value diversity and belonging and seek to create a classroom environment where all students feel included
- Curious, open-minded, and willing to change their own thinking and practice
- Experience working in international schools and/or delivering the International Baccalaureate’s, Primary Years Programme (PYP) would be highly desirable, but not essential.
It would also be desirable if the individual possesses:
- Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Experience with Early Years
- International school experience
