About the role

As an integral part of the commercial support function, you will be responsible for the execution of Nyrstar customer contracts, performing all order requirements along the diversified production material flow, from order entry to final invoicing and managing the timely delivery of products to our customers. In this role you will ensure the seamless collaboration and integration between the Business Execution, Commercial, Supply Chain and Logistics teams; including the coordination of end-to-end order execution activities along the metals and diversified products flow, aligned with our sales and operations plans.

You will be responsible for:

  • Order execution process flows from order creation, booking of transport to export documentation
  • Calculating pricing and managing all relevant order execution and invoicing actions in SAP
  • Liaising with sales, customers and inventory planning to create visibility/forecast future supply and sales orders
  • Timely and accurate preparation and coordination of transport, weighing, customs, bill of lading, certificate of analysis, country of origin and LC documentation with stakeholders
  • Monitoring the status of material and document movements through the order execution process flow

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Commerce or similar (Preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in a similar customer service, export coordination, or logistics role
  • Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Excellent planning and time management skills
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Nyrstar Hobart is a large scale zinc smelter located on Hobart's River Derwent, only a few kilometres from the Tasmanian capital's charming and cosmopolitan city centre. The facility uses the RLE process for zinc production. Hobart's key products are SHG zinc, die cast alloys and continuous galvanising grad (CGG) alloys. In addition, the site produces by-products of cadmium, copper sulphate, paragoethite, lead sulphate, leach concentrate and sulphuric acid.
