Our Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) located in Redbank uses world-class technology to modernise our Supply Chain. Epic in scale and design, our new facility represents the future of logistics. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Coles Finance team and work closely within Supply Chain & Logistics to empower our retail teams across the country.

About the Role

As Finance Business Partner, you will provide support to our Commercial Managers in delivering quality business partnering to the Redbank and Kemps Creek Automated Distribution Centres (ADC's). The breadth of support will include all aspects of the finance, accounting, and commercial functions, including reporting, budgeting, and analysis in accordance with Coles Commercial framework and accounting standards.

You'll also:

  • Partner with key operational stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business processes
  • Work closely with and influence the operations team and other key stakeholders to monitor & manage performance against budgets/targets
  • Develop robust reporting and analysis, turning operational metrics into financial results
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting to allow the site/s to drive performance
  • Develop financial plans and forecasts, offering guidance on future initiatives
  • Identify key drivers of cost and opportunities for business improvement, and support all business improvement initiatives by providing commercial thought leadership and ensuring benefits are accurately tracked and reported
  • Deliver insightful & objective analysis and commercial recommendations to ADC Management Team as required

About You and Your Skills

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience presenting financial information in a clear and concise way, aiding operational and non-financial stakeholders in understanding the insights learned and key drivers of performance.

You'll also need:

  • Varied finance background covering financial control, financial reporting, planning & analysis, and business partnering
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills in order to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
  • Demonstrated experience streamlining reporting processes and improving data visualisation

Not essential, but desirable:

  • Experience in logistics, an automated distribution facility or manufacturing environment
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean Six-Sigma Training & experience
