Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres North of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen and Glendell open cut mines. The integration of these operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine.
An opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic Maintenance Planner at MGO. Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Superintendent you will be responsible for preparing safe and efficient maintenance plans for a modern mining fleet to achieve availability and reliability targets and will drive maintenance performance and safety standards across site.
The requirements for success in this role include:
- Relevant trade or Engineering qualifications
- Equipment knowledge of Caterpillar, Liebherr and/or Hitachi
- Mobile Equipment Maintenance experience
- Demonstrated maintenance planning skills
- Solid communication skills and experience in shutdown planning
- Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable)
- Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems and an extensive knowledge of SAP
