Our client is a family owned and operated agricultural business near Narrabri in NSW. Growing mainly potatoes, they currently seek temporary farm machinery operators for the upcoming season.Positions
Farmhand/Tractor Driver - NSW
Duties may include:
- Operation of farm machinery eg. various modern tractors and cultivation equipment, boom sprayer, windrower, harvester, chaser bins etc.
- Forklifts, front end loaders & telehandler operation
- Workshop maintenance and welding
- Adherence to Company OH&S protocols and procedures
- Understanding and application of precision Ag practices
- Sound mechanical knowledge and comfort with technical farming systems
- Sound use of GPS technology
- Proven experience in similar farming operations
- Centre pivot irrigation experience an advantage
- Qualifications in agriculture highly regarded.
$30 p/h with opportunity for increases
Free accommodation on farm
Work vehicle provided
The position will run until approximately the end of December 2024
