Description:
Position: Dry Fire and Alarms Technician
We are looking for a reliable and experienced (5+ years) Dry Fire & Alarms Technician who is willing to apply their skills and knowledge with our current experienced team across multiple sites. We expect the role to mainly encompass jobs on the central coast and Newcastle, however some travel to Sydney metro will be required.
Roles:
- Maintain and service all Fire detection and Alarm Systems
- Fault finding on various fire systems.
- Installation and replacement of Fire Detection and alarm system.
- Undertake minor fit out works and associated commissioning
- Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
- Liaise directly with various clients, including builders and building managers regarding service work
- Basic programming required – experience on Notifier and Ampac panels is preferred
Skills and experience we require:
- Experience in the fire industry
- Sound Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Experience working in large shopping centres and sites with various interfaces, EWIS, smoke management, access control
- Assist in Fire panel programming. (additional training can be provided to expand product knowledge).
- Current White Card
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Preference will be given to applicants residing on the Central Coast

Pay: $76,810.79 – $162,752.24 per year
