  • Commencing Salary $35,779.20 per annum plus 11% Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading
  • Part Time (22.8 hours per week)
  • 12 Months Fixed Term Opportunity


About the opportunity:

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a dynamic Administrator to join the Sydney team to provide timely administrative processes and operational support to the team specifically in relation to Short Courses and special programs and projects.

As the first point of contact for enquiries related to short courses, special programs and projects, this position will be required to deliver a high level of service to internal and external by ensuring all inbound phone calls and email enquiries are answered on a timely manner.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant Degree or Diploma ideally in Administration.
  • Extensive experience in a similar position with an emphasis on coordination of office functions.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills in person and over the phone and the ability to deal confidentially with sensitive issues.
  • Substantial experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with high level keyboard / typing skills and the ability to learn Institute specific software packages i.e. Finance 1 and SMS.
  • The ability to liaise effectively with industry contacts, government and community groups on behalf of the Manager to ensure that appropriate levels of communication are maintained.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and to work independently to meet agreed timelines.
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to initiate and coordinate various administrative processes.
  • Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
