Paint Line and QA Manager
Our Queensland Paint Line and Distribution Centre has a new position available for the role of Paint Line and QA Manager. This newly created position is a great opportunity for an experienced Paint Line and Powder Coating Operator to lead the team at our brand-new facility located in Zillmere. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the Paint Line, this role will also be responsible for implementing and administering quality control for the facility.
About the role:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of our brand-new Vertical Paint Line facility.
- Labour planning.
- Leading, supporting, and developing a team of approx. 18 employees.
- Providing support in the Paint Line operations to ensure customer agreed expectations are met.
- Manage non-conformances, scrap processes, and fault identification.
- Maintain a DIFOT of at least 99%.
- Ensure daily reworks are completed in full within 24hrs.
- Liaise directly with both internal and external customers to address quality issues.
- Implement appropriately developed quality systems to support in house coating facilities.
Experience and Skills needed:
- Previous experience supervising a Paint Line is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in a mechanical or machinery-based role.
- Leadership and staff management experience.
- Experience with implementing and administering quality control systems.
- Demonstrated a strong focus and commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
