The role
As our Senior Transport Engineer, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on transport, road safety and traffic management.
You will:
Monitor and deliver our Road Safety Action Plan (2023-2027)
Develop road safety and transport safety funding applications and programs
Provide specialist advice relating to transport and road safety
Undertake the development of projects and capital works programs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a Civil Engineering qualification permitting admission to the Institute of Engineers (Australia)
Have extensive knowledge and experience in traffic engineering and road safety
Have excellent time management and project management skills
Have strong communication skills with a customer service focus
Enjoy working in a team environment
A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
