The Position:
- Assist in the preparation of a variety of dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Support kitchen organisation by maintaining cleanliness, organising supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, following instructions and contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Follow established safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Provide assistance in fulfilling resident needs, ensuring prompt and efficient service while maintaining high food quality.
Who You Are:
- Proficient in high-volume, buffet-style kitchen operations.
- Preferably experienced in FIFO (Fly-In/Fly-Out) work environments.
- Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Skilled in adhering to safe food handling procedures.
- Capable of maintaining professionalism in high-pressure kitchen settings.
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment medical assessments, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Passionate about acquiring and mastering new culinary skills.
