Being a bus driver involves a lot more than driving. At Path Transit, being a great bus driver means:

· Getting passengers to their destination safely and on time

· Consistently providing great customer service for every customer

· Interacting with the public in a number of ways, including updating passengers during disruptions

· Being focused on connecting communities to where they work, live and play.

Our service relies on a work roster with shifts across early mornings, days, nights and weekends, public holidays and special events.

You will need the following to apply:

· Hold a HR driving licence (issued in WA)

· Hold a Passenger Transport Driver authorisation

· Have a valid National Police Clearance certificate and Traffic Infringement certificate (not more than 3 months old)

· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening)

· Unrestricted right to live and work in Australia

· Currently residing in Perth

You also need:

· A genuine interest and 'drive' to provide fantastic customer service to all of our customers all of the time

· Communication and comprehension skills, to read, understand and converse in English, read maps, calculate change, understand timetables, operate radio and learn and apply operating procedures/systems.

· Enthusiasm, energy and enjoy variety – you will be on the move a lot, no two days are the same in this exciting role and business

Path Transit commenced operations in Perth in 1996 and currently operates in the North Eastern and Eastern suburbs from bus depots located in Malaga, Bayswater, Welshpool, Kalamunda and Redcliffe. We also operate services in the WA country town of Geraldton.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
