Exciting opportunity for Locum General Practitioner for Bowen, QLD location.
GP Locum with general registration to serve the community of Bowen Whitsundays.Dates – Friday 14th June 2024 / Monday 30th September – Friday 25th October 2024 / Monday
11th November – Friday 20th December 2024
Your hours of work would be:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm, closing for lunch hour 12:30 –1:30pm
Thursday & Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm, lunch hour: 12:00am – 1:00pm
Seeking a GP familiar with Medical Director and Pracsoft 4.3 software. The practice is a general practice, not an AMS but do focus on Indigenous Health. We are looking for a GP that is willing to learn or know how to perform Health Checks and Care Plans. It would be preferred if cervical smears can be done as well. Nursing home visits could be required if it is booked (no patients in this regard at the moment)
The practice offer a surgery vehicle, offer accommodation and flights within Australia for the locum period.
You will be supported by another locum GP, 2x practice nurses, 2x Indigenous Health workers, practice manager and the receptionist.
