Our client is a highly successful Gold Coast business who provides innovative and safe lifting solutions for heavy machinery in the mining industry. They have been in operation for over 50 years, and have developed a reputation for uncompromised quality, reliability and design. Their products are locally manufactured and are supplied to customers in Australia and throughout the World.
Due to continued business growth, our Client is now seeking a self-motivated individual to assist the production and manufacturing team. This is a newly created position which will suit an enthusiastic individual who is mechanically minded, has a forklift licence and a willing attitude You will be assisting with a variety of workshop, yard and stores duties.
*This role is to commence immediately on a casual basis, with full time opportunities for the right person.

- Manual handling and general workshop duties
- Safe use of power, hand tools and equipment
- Assist with labelling and packing as required
- Clean workshop, workspace and tools to ensure a safe working environment
- Have proven experience as a Trades Assistant in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Hold a current forklift ticket
- Must be hands-on and complete tasks that are necessary to meet deadlines
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to take and follow direction and instructions
- Be responsible and take accountability for your role and duties
- Physically fit with the ability to up to 20kgs
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
- MUST be living on the Gold Coast and hold full Australian Working Rights
