Our beautiful, custom-designed Gwelup centre is searching for a dedicated Lead Educator! Our centre boasts 6 creative learning hubs which are purposefully designed with modern sustainable resources. All our hubs are bright and inviting, filled with innovative educational materials and natural resources that lead out to a wonderful outdoor area. We cater for a secure learning environment with small rooms.
We are committed to focusing on best practice in education and care, and are now looking for an experienced Lead Educator to join our leadership team in this centre!
About the role
- Able to plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Prior leadership experience in mentoring Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
- Capable to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development
- Knowledge of many different early years theories with no “one size fit’s all”
- Strong understanding of image of child and how to support educators with this
- Team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects upon best practice
- Flexible with routines and able to support multiple rooms requiring assistance
- Current ACECQA approved Diploma
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
