About the role
Visy Paper Mill 4 at Coolaroo is a recycled paper mill in the Visy industries group operating multiple pulp-making lines as well as one paper-machine with all ancillary manufacturing equipment.
Duties
Reporting to the Shift Foreman, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Willingness to learn and be mechanically competent in safe operation of the manufacturing equipment.
- Assimilate technical and complex information and use these to optimise productivity.
- Conduct quality assessments on the process and finished product.
- Comply with all WHS and environmental procedures.
- Problem solves technical aspects of the process.
What you will bring to the team

- Technical aptitude
- Team member qualities and be able to work in a team environment.
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including manual handling which will be performed during shift work.
- Previous experience working in a paper making or packaging manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
